Capsule endoscopy is a very useful procedure that involves a small pill-like wireless camera to take multiple photos of your small intestine. This capsule is small and easy to swallow and transmits via Bluetooth to a receiver which the patient wears on a belt. This is a very useful procedure, and we are able to find different lesions, like, ulcers, malignant lesions and other pathology in areas in small intestine that the endoscopy is very difficult to reach.
